Since 1957, battery manufacturers and developers around the globe have relied on Bitrode Corporation—now proudly operating as Andritz Bitrode—for innovative energy storage solutions.
Founded as an in-house provider to a battery manufacturer in St. Louis, Missouri, Bitrode has remained dedicated to serving the evolving needs of the energy storage industry. In 2008, Bitrode joined the Sovema family of companies, marking a significant milestone in its global expansion. This journey continued in 2022 when Bitrode and Sovema became part of the Schuler Group, further strengthening our capabilities and global reach.
Today, as Andritz Bitrode, we are part of the ANDRITZ Group, a bold global leader in industrial technology. In addition to our legacy offerings, we now provide a comprehensive product line of battery formation and laboratory test equipment, software tools, battery simulation, and manufacturing automation solutions—designed to support all battery applications and chemistries.
