Full Description

We’re seeking a skilled Firmware Engineer to lead the development and enhancement of embedded firmware across various platforms including Coldfire, PowerPC, C2000, PLC, Assembly, and PALASM. This role involves designing new digital control products, supporting communication protocols (CAN, EtherCAT, RBP), and ensuring system reliability through advanced debugging, testing, and hardware-firmware integration. The ideal candidate will work independently on non-legacy products, contribute to firmware reviews, mentor junior engineers, and support production timelines through detailed documentation and customer-ready firmware packages.

Qualifications

Must have a Master’s Degree (or foreign equiv) in Engineering or related field
- Plus 1 year of systems engineering experience
Alternatively a Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equiv) in Engineering or related field
- Plus 4 years of progressive post-baccalaureate systems engineering experience.
