WB – Temperature Controlled Water Bath

  • Water temperature is controlled by sensor and digital controller to maintain 25° to 80°C ± 2°C. (Based on 20°C inlet water temp and flow rates less than 2 gallons per minute. Cover usage required to maintain 80°C ± 2°C. )

  • Water continuously flows around the temperature sensor and batteries and heat is automatically added as required.

  • Digital temperature controlled

  • Stainless steel tank with structural steel base

  • Timing circuit refreshes water for approximately two minutes each hour preventing buildup of acid and stale water (line frequency

    dependent)

  • Water level adjustable by standpipe change

  • Overhead wire tray with openings for optional test leads

  • WB15 holds 15 SLI storage batteries (BCI group 24)

  • WB16 holds 16 SLI storage batteries (BCI group 24).

  • Room temperature water bath available. Temperature control up to 40oC.
  • High temperature (HT) water bath available (includes covers). Temperature control up to 80oC. Requires 21A current draw.

Overview

Bitrode’s water bath is designed to provide a temperature-controlled medium for testing batteries according to provisions of different test procedures. Water temperature is controlled by sensors and digital controller to maintain 25° to 80°C ± 2°C. (Based on 20°C inlet water temp and flow rates less than 2 gallons per minute.) Water is continuously pumped around the temperature sensor and batteries and heat is automatically added as required.
