When
running an LCN unit, the battery voltage reads zero on the VisuaLCN
computer. Why is this?
Check for proper polarity on the voltage sense leads, and make certain
the circuit cards are fully seated in the LCN unit. If these do not
solve the problem try changing out the analog board. If this dies
not resolve the problem, please contact Bitrode customer service.

When
running a 'half cell' test on an LCN unit, the Cell Voltage Monitoring
option does not work. Why not?
For this sort of testing, a high impedance input electrode may be
required. This may be required if the impedance value of the cell
is high. Contact Bitrode for details to see if this option is required.

Our
LCN300-12 circuit does not control voltage very well when charge
current tapers off to a few milliamps. How can we make this circuit
behave properly?
To perform Constant Voltage Charging at lower currents, you may
be outside the circuit's resolution at this very low level. You
may need to add a 'float' section to your circuits to increase the
resolution. Please contact Bitrode for details.

We
just upgraded an LCN unit's firmware, and now the cooling fan on our
LCN unit is always on when power is applied to the cabinet.
First check that the processor board is fully installed. You will
need to apply fair pressure to the card to seat it in the motherboard
contacts. If this does not solve the problem, change the board. If
this does not resolve the problem, please contact Bitrode to discuss
further diagnostics.

Some
of our LCN circuits may be programmed for 99 steps with VisuaLCN,
but others are limited to 50 steps. Why is this?
Check out the Circuit Module Type entered when you began writing the
circuit program. Bitrode's older units allowed only 50 steps, but
our new units now support 99. Please contact Bitrode to discuss upgrading
the older units to 99 steps.
